Naturopath, Herbalist and Nutritionist
Since completing her Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) degree in Brisbane in 2018, Caitlyn has been passionate about supporting positive health changes for individuals through empowering them with holistic health principles.
Caitlyn believes in meeting people exactly where they are in their health journeys, and works with them to uncover strategies that are both simple and achievable, but most of all effective and sustainable for long-term change. This can include dietary analysis and meal planning, evidence based herbal and nutritional medicine and lifestyle coaching.
Caitlyn’s approach is gentle and empathetic, with the aim of identifying and treating physical, mental and environmental underlying causes and she understands that each person’s story and journey is unique.
Caitlyn has a special interest in skin health and treating chronic skin conditions particularly acne and rosacea, as well as hormonally influenced conditions including: post-pill acne, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, irregular periods, perimenopause, menopause and thyroid irregularities.
Her approach is grounded in clinical research and traditional knowledge to support optimal physical and mental wellbeing.
When not working in the Apothecary or in Clinic, Caitlyn loves exploring Tasmania’s many running trails, practicing yoga, formal and expressive dance, testing out new vegetarian recipes and dedicating time to making herbal medicine more accessible to the community through Hobart Herbalists Without Borders.
