Sarah brings a compassionate yet pragmatic approach to her practice and is dedicated to supporting people as a partner in their health, bringing to life the healthiest version of themselves. Sarah’s early training as a chef, combined with her passion for food as medicine and her strong evidence-based approach form the basis of Sarah’s clinical approach.

Sarah seeks to uncover and address the underlying factors that prevent health and wellness, formulating a personalised health and wellness road map that addresses current symptoms and concerns along with future goals, making healthy living simple and enjoyable.

You will find practical and sustainable food and lifestyle recommendations, alongside traditional and evidence-based nutritional/herbal medicine approaches, aimed to support your body’s natural healing capacity and empower you in your own health journey. Sarah welcomes working collectively with other practitioners in a joint effort to support you to live longer, stronger, happier and healthier lives.

Sarah trained and worked as a chef before discovering her passion for the natural world and completing her first degree in ecology and biological sciences. Sarah worked for several years in the area of diabetes, metabolic syndrome and Cardiovascular drug development attending numerous national and international medical conferences. It became increasingly clear to her how powerful and effective diet and lifestyle measures were at increasing life and health span. Thus, after the birth of her 2 children, Sarah combined her passion for food, science and health and embarked on her journey into the study and practice of Nutritional and Herbal Medicine.

A life-long learner, Sarah completed an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine and a post-graduate diploma in complementary support of Mental Health conditions. Sarah completed a Bachelor of Medicine Managements with Professional Honours in Evidence Based Complementary Medicine in 2019 honing her research skills to support scientific rigour in her clinical practice. Sarah has recently completed training with Dr Jason Hawrelak in Naturopathic and Functional Medicine Approaches to Gastrointestinal Disorders as well as Advanced Microbiome Manipulation.

Sarah is currently undertaking a degree, in Psychological Science in order to further her understanding of mental health and illness, healthy brain ageing and evidence-based approaches in the prevention and support of dementia and related neuro-degenerative disorders. This degree includes a Diploma of Counselling.

When she is not working or studying, Sarah can often be found in her beloved food and herb garden or somewhere wild in nature. Sarah is a practitioner of mediation and mindfulness and has also been practising and sharing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) for over a decade. Sarah is a passionate supporter of restorative and peaceful approaches that help to reconnect us with our inherent humanity, in ourselves, our families, communities and with our precious earth.
