BHSc (Nat), MNHAA
Naturopath, Herbalist and Nutritionist
Bec embraces a holistic life, and is passionate about helping people to live fully and wholesomely. She focuses on evidence-based methods when working with her patients to help them achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
Through years working as an adventure guide in the Blue Mountains and exploring the natural world on her own adventures, Bec developed a deep interest in the relationship between physical and mental wellbeing, and the natural environment. Through Naturopathy, she combines her passions for helping people connect with a grounded, balanced way of living, and sharing the benefits of holistic medicine.
Bec appreciates the fusion of traditional practices and modern science, and is passionate about a preventative approach to health.
Optimising the physical, mental and emotional aspects of the individual is a strong focus for Bec. She works closely with her patients to develop a clear and sustainable health care plan, utilising a tailored combination of lifestyle practices, dietary considerations, nutritional and herbal medicines.
Bec’s daily life and professional practice are infused with her love for cooking, creating recipes and experimenting with food and flavour. She implements the ‘food as medicine’ approach in her own cooking, and when considering clients’ diet and lifestyle. The simple incorporation of these tools is practical, sustainable and therapeutic.
For Bec, working with people’s health is not only hugely rewarding but also an honour. She likes to empower, educate and motivate people to enrich their lives so they can truly shine, bringing more joy into each day and all of their relationships.
Bec treats a wide variety of people with both acute and chronic conditions. She is fascinated by women’s health across the life stages and has a particular interest in conditions affecting the nervous system, including stress, fatigue, sleep disorders, mental health, skin conditions and gastrointestinal health.
When Bec isn’t consulting or playing in the kitchen, she is off exploring the wild places; hiking, climbing, canyoning and scuba diving. She also loves yoga and gardening.
