Bronwyn is a degree-qualified Naturopath and Nutritionist with a special interest in helping women navigate the menopausal transition and the gastrointestinal issues that can arise or be exacerbated during this time.

After running her own successful clinical practice for several years, Bronwyn’s existing interest in gastrointestinal health and the microbiome was further fuelled after undertaking extensive post-graduate study with Dr. Jason Hawrelak through the Microbiome Restoration Centre.

Bronwyn now loves nothing more than to support women who are facing the challenges of changing hormones and the physical, mental and emotional alterations this brings. From a gastrointestinal perspective, this could include any of the following conditions:

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome

  • Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO)

  • Constipation

  • Dysbiosis

  • Peptic ulcer disease (Helicobacter pylori)

  • Gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn)

  • Intestinal permeability (leaky gut)

  • Food intolerances

Bronwyn also works with Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease (Inflammatory Bowel Disease), and gluten-related disorders (Coeliac disease and gluten sensitivity).

As a practitioner, Bronwyn is compassionate and realistic – believing that it is important to meet people where they are without judgement or unrealistic expectations. As a busy working mum of two, she also understands how essential it is to have the support of a health practitioner who understands your whole picture of health, not just the presenting symptoms.

Adopting a collaborative approach to treatment, Bronwyn incorporates nutrition and lifestyle modulation, alongside nutrient and herbal support as necessary and appropriate to support the body holistically to return to a state of health.

When she isn’t working, you’ll find Bronwyn enjoying the great outdoors at every opportunity either hiking or swimming, or trying not to capsize the boat in her latest pursuit of learning to sail.
