Prior to embarking on her Bachelor of Health Science degree, Michelle worked in the banking and finance industry for 15 years, in Australia and the United Kingdom. She embarked on the path to become a naturopath after experiencing the positive impact of food as medicine, lifestyle changes and the powerful healing properties of herbal medicine on her own health and wellbeing. Her mission then became to support others struggling with chronic health conditions.

Michelle's areas of focus include adult and children’s gut health, autoimmune and skin conditions, women’s hormonal health, thyroid health, anxiety, stress management, and metabolic health. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of supporting parents, babies, and children through various life stages, from pre-conception to beyond.

Michelle has completed Dr. Jason Hawrelak’s advanced training in Naturopathic and Functional Medicine Approaches to Gastrointestinal Disorders and Advanced Microbiome Manipulation. This specialised training allows her offer holistic evidence-based care, combining the latest clinical research with traditional naturopathic treatment approaches.

Driven by a desire to address the root causes of health issues, Michelle utilises functional testing and microbiome analysis as part of her customised treatment plans. This approach allows for a deeper insight into her patient’s health concerns, identifying underlying imbalances and dysfunctions that may be contributing to ongoing symptoms.

Outside of clinic, Michelle enjoys outdoor exercise including cross-training and running with friends, playing the piano and spending time with her family. Her happy place is being immersed in nature, snow skiing or enjoying a swim in the ocean.
