We have a multi-modality practitioner team of Naturopaths, an Acupuncturist, a Counsellor and Remedial and Relaxation Massage Therapists. We are looking for a bright, energetic and diligent person to join our dedicated reception team to support our practitioners, patients and clinic.

Pay and working conditions

  • The position is casual with a minimum of 9 hours per week, and up to 20 hours per week

  • Our preference is for candidates able to work at least one shift starting at 8:15am and at least one shift ending at 7:30pm each week (not on the same day!)

  • Possibility of occasional Saturday shifts in the future if the clinic reopens on Saturdays

  • Pay rate: casual rate of $29.24 – Level 3 Health Professionals and Support Services Award (award rate for age bracket applies to employees under 21). Superannuation of 10%

  • Please note that in accordance with Tasmanian Public Health Directions, Health Workers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to 8 January 2022.  Applicants are advised that the Public Health Direction applies to all support staff in the Goulds Natural Medicine Clinic

Skills required to apply


  • Previous experience in a reception role

  • Previous experience in an administration role

  • Previous experience in a customer service role


  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word skills

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Intermediate to advanced typing skills

  • Experienced in email and internet use

  • Intermediate to advanced numeracy skills including capacity to track financials, calculating payments and percentages, and conduct end of day financial settlement

  • Excellent phone and in-person communication skills

  • Excellent command of the written and spoken word
