This is an opportunity to be a part of Goulds Natural Medicine Clinic in Hobart, a business which is committed to making our patients' lives better through natural medicine.

We have a multi-modality practitioner team of Naturopaths, an Osteopath, an Acupuncturist and Remedial and Relaxation Massage Therapists and are looking for a bright and energetic person to join our dedicated and close-knit reception team.

As we get busier and continue to grow our team, we need someone who is interested in joining Goulds Natural Medicine Clinic. If you are looking to become an integral member of our clinic reception team and to connect with our patients, then you will appreciate the atmosphere we offer.

The position is casual with a minimum of 15 hours per week; it would suit someone flexible as start and end times vary between 8:15am and 7:30pm across the week, with some Saturday shifts.

Skills required to apply

  • Intermediate Microsoft Word

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel

  • Experienced in email and internet use

  • Excellent phone and in-person communication skills

  • Interest in natural medicine

We have a dedicated team of Naturopaths, Dispensary Assistants and clinic practitioners and are looking for a bright and energetic person to join our dedicated and close-knit ordering and stock management team.

We need someone who is interested in joining Goulds Natural Medicine. If you are looking to become an integral member of our Apothecary team, then you will appreciate the atmosphere we offer.

The position is casual with a minimum of 10 hours per week (2 shifts of 5 hours each) with some periods of increased hours and availability required during staff absences including holidays and other leave periods. 

 

Personal attributes

  • You enjoy stock management including stock inventory, making orders, unpacking orders, processing stock, stock rotation, and generally supporting efficient stock management processes

  • You enjoy keeping the wheels of a business running well

  • You enjoy liaising with practitioners and staff, have good communication skills, and like to be in a supportive role for the team

  • You enjoy working as a part of a small administrative team

  • You want to learn and upskill in your role

  • You are able to see fluctuations in stock usage patterns

  • You are capable of recognising and responding cautiously to stock usage changes

  • You are able to keep in touch with practitioner prescribing trends

  • You are capable of communicating well with and building positive relationships with suppliers

 

Skills required to apply

Desirable

  • Previous experience in retail

  • Previous experience in stock management including stock taking and stock control

Essential

  • Intermediate Microsoft Word

  • Experienced in email and internet use
