Women's Health

Women face an ever-changing health journey throughout the stages of their lives. Naturopathy can help to manage many conditions and symptoms that women experience on their health journey. Patients will receive individualised treatment plans specific to their condition and situation, and this may involve any number of modalities that our highly trained Naturopaths and allied health professionals are well adept at managing.

Women’s healthcare can be a sensitive issue, and all of our Naturopaths are trained professionals who take your health seriously. You can expect to be treated with compassion, integrity and respect by our practitioners, who want the best for you and your family.

Conditions that we commonly manage and/or treat include but are not limited to:

  • Menopause and peri-menopause

  • Fertility and libido issues

  • Preconception care and pregnancy

  • Lactation

  • Endometriosis

  • Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

  • Fibroids

  • Cervical Dysplasia (CIN)

  • Menorrhagia (heavy menstruation)

  • Dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation)

  • Metrorrhagia (irregular menstruation)

  • Pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS); mood stabilisation, fluid retention

  • Acne, particularly hormonal

  • Lichen sclerosis and vaginal disorders

  • Candida (Thrush)

  • Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)

  • Bacterial Vaginosis

  • Healthy ageing - osteoporosis, low bone density, nutrient depletion, Alzheimer’s, dementia, cognitive decline

  • Skin care

  • Disease Prevention - cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease

Preventative healthcare is a primary goal of Naturopathy, and all of our practitioners highly value the importance of avoiding illness before it occurs. Women with chronic disease conditions that cannot be treated with Naturopathy, such as cancer, will find that they benefit from a consultation with a Naturopath, who will create a safe management plan for optimal health, wellbeing and comfort.

For fertility and preconception care patients, partners are encouraged to attend appointments alongside their spouse, and if necessary will be referred for an individualised appointment themselves.

Women with children are welcomed into our clinic, and we provide a breastfeeding friendly environment where children are invited to attend appointments with their parents.

If you are experiencing any of the conditions listed above, schedule an appointment today and get the help you need.
